My first character went turtle and died horribly due to poor life choices too.
The second one who rushed skip attacks and additional slot to keep it equipped at all times has a better time.
It's kinda weird how the skilltree who is "all about them hyuge energies" doesn't have a mandatory freaking energy regeneration move and is prone to constantly running out of energy on its own.
also the way the skill tree is set up you have to get 3 different punches that are basically the same, wasting a ton of skill points
Now that I've got much of the branch unlocked, the skill tree is shining for me in everyway you'd want. Sitting back and blocking opponant's blows with reduced damage buffs, and throwing punches that they have to block or dodge sucking away their energy, while you use Wait to suppliment your own, keeping your stamina topped off while you punch them to the ground over and over as they gas out. It's fun, but it's a long way to get there right now. Then again, I made the mistake of skipping the Wait move.
