HAHAHA WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ :D :D
I only found the Steam forums as a way to potentially contact the devs and let them know about ideas, but anyone know if they have a direct contact email or something? I couldn't really find anything on their site, and I wanna ask them this directly.
Also the only similar game in this awesome art style that has gay (and/or sex) options would probably be Mugen, so no, there AREN'T too many such games out there already, thank you very much.
Haven't seen one yet though.
That's exactly what I think when I see those Vladimir Putin commercials: riding barechested on a horse, firing a rifle half naked showing off his muscles...
I bet it won't ever be realized. Game devs set priorities in line with design decision and use their limited resource (time, manpower, etc) according to priority. Dating was never really a feature. Romance with Adrian is only a cover for a training buff (less food & energy cost) that suits the fighter sim design. Their priority would likely be bugfix, adding more content/story that were planned but did not make it to the launch (they have stated this), applying community feedbacks to gameplay/balance, polishing the game in general, and so on.
I'd say what you're asking is too much work that doesn't suit the original design decision. If dating is to be a feature, it would be much more efficient to design a new game with it from zero, not adding to a game that's already launched like this.
You don't need to contact the devs directly. There is a subforum for ideas and suggestions, the devs reads it, if they like a suggested idea they will add it into their list. They manage that list, discuss it internally, put priority to each item.
That and the game is an hommage to 80s fighting movies. Hence the girlfriend is called Adrian. I don't recall any of the classics featuring gay romance. Well, other than van Damme's unhealthy obsession with his butt.
So where is this subforum exactly? I can't figure anything out on their site.
