How to build a Stamina character?
I started agility and it was (still is) grossly dumb. I want to try stamina now, how would you build him? What abilities would you take?

STAY AWAY FROM THE TURTLE ROAD YOU FOOL !
As a player who finished the game with turtle, that what i want to say.

Well to be serious :

Raise Agility, you need a lot of it, nearly as many as your Stamina level.
Early game you'll have lot of energy problem as your "energy regen" doesn't keep up with the high consuptiom of the skils.
Damages overall are weak, really weak.

So mainly Stamina should be focused around Agility.
The only "reliable ability" in Stamina are sadly the last one in turtle way.
Spear : Free to use when under 25% energy. Nice base AIM, decent damage (in turtle standart)
Barrel Strike : Can destroy an Agility build fighter, cause his AIM up the more you miss.
Bear Strike : Litteraly leech the ennemy energy.
Infinite Energy : Reduce cost of skills by 70% if under 25% energy.

The problem is this road is here, the best skill need you to be low on energy, but you never want that or you'll be put down on the ground and take extra damages...
And late game, your energy will hardly fall under 50-60% so ...

Building Strengh is purely useless with Stamina, as the attacks have a low base power, and don't benefit a lot of the strengh.
Plus strengh will raise your energy consumption, and with high energy cost Turtle Road, its not the smartes move... Unless you like kissing the floor.

So Agility is the only real solution with Stamina.

Prepare to suffer friend, its a long long road of pain and frustration that await you !
Be your soul be ready for this and survive this hardship !

I went with that skill tree its not that bad.

You just need to read and pay attention to what skills drain how much and do how much damage.

Way of the bear wasn't bad just its stupid that nearly 100% of the npcs you go against are on the way of the tiger build or turtle.

if you are going turtle.. you just need to make a wise choice on moves..

way of the bear just about the samething but i found a move set that pretty much works 75 - 92.44% of the time

but its over all the devs and their messing around with things

no wonder why people used cheat engine to boost up their stats... the way the game is atm yeah..

i went in with a 17/10/15 on the first go with the way of the bear
went smooth half the time and the other time it was a pain.

then with turtle i went 8/10/17

Struggled a bit but found a move set that worked
Steam rolled over most and some i kind of had a hard time mostly cause those stupid
dodge and block and counter moves the npcs have.

If you can drain their energy with a few hits.. you'll have it pretty easy but when you deal with a enemy with counter moves...not as much

In this game a stat at 10 is high, i see you was forced to raise Agility in the end, no wonder you did good, you solved the accuracy problem.
But if you read the training manual, and the way the game should be played, you shouldn't have to raise so many stats, the devs said themselve that skills are more important, but its pretty wrong, even a good skill combination, without accuracy you'r stuck.
By upping Agility every build become viable in the long run.
That's where the problem is with this game actually.
I challenge anybody here to do a speed run in less than 100 days without using an Agility build. It seem pretty impossible ATM with how accuracy is managed.
