Main menu won't show up, nothing but a black screen. I can only hear the music and see the yellow cursor.

I just bought this game today but I can't get it work. All I see is the big black screen and the yellow game cursor with the in game music.

It seems like I can click the links on the main menu and it works, but since all I see is pitch black screen I can't get past to it.

Hey I've tried everything, even tried the pirate verison but no luck. And I don't have a save file since I couldn't even start the campaign. I click the exe all I see is pitch black screen, game's yellow pixelated cursor and hear the main menu music.

I have the same problem, and no solution on internet except this. What to do? I don't even understand how to send log error file. Funniest fact, my pirate version worked somehow good, but Steam version don't show up main menu.

I just installed it, on Windows 7, and have a similar problem, but it shows a purple river scene rather than a black screen. I can click invisible things, so I assume this is meant to be the menu.

I just installed the game. Did the hold right ALT. Did the Alt Tab thing. I reinstalled the game too.

I sent in a bug report. How come I don't see a solution for this issue posted?

This is what I did to fix my problem. I use a laptop, so it looked like it was an issue of intel having certain options that Nvidia didn't have.

Right Click on Destop
Choose "Graphics Properties"
Tick "Scale Full Screen"
Done!

I too have gotten nothing back from them. I was about to give up, but I kept trying anything.

If you look through the threads where this happens like years ago, tinybuild give no solution for the persons problem, and their first response is kinda rude by telling them that they're literally the only person with the issue.
