Still stuck in limbo

So Mick didn't give me the option to restart my pro-playoff series. I thought it was a feature so I grinded out the Underground Fight Club, won it and expected the game to continue as normal. Went to the Don, said I'd work for him but let Mick and the Pizza guy talk me out of it.

Now I'm literally trapped without any fight to fight. Mick won't re-issue a playoff series and I've talked to everybody else in the world and they're not giving me anything to do. I was incredibly excited about this game, but after pooling hours and hours into an underpowered strength based character because I liked the challenge, only to encounter a literal gamebreaking bug.

I had a similar issue. I wasn't very far along in the ultimate fights because I concentrated on rookie league. I went to the Don and he told me I needed a professional card. I won the rookie league and then was immediately sent to Mick's office where I told him I would win the amulet in the playoffs. I completed the red level in the ultimate fights and now the only option I have is the rookie league. My playoff level never unlocked. I also don't have gang wars or ninja's that I see talked about on updates and discussions.

Question to the topic starter - did you close the game in the middle of some fight or dialog using Alt-F4?

I have this same problem for closing the game before it said "You didn't even win a single fight" is there a way to fix this?
