Start menu not working

After buying this game at launch and waiting so long for Vive support, I'm still unable to play. The options menu at the start of the game only allows me to view and change options on the first tab. Selecting other tabs makes them flash up for a second and then return to the first tab again. Pressing the controller trackpad makes the tabs start cycling through without stopping, and will only return to the first tab again. I can't change any of the important game options at all. Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem?

I'm really loathe to unplug my joystick and controller just to play, but gonna give it a go. Will post again if fix works.

Ah ok, yep, that was it. Saitek X52 stick unplugged and now it works :)
