Having said that go for 12000 levels (6sins) before resetting and ignore that 80% you heard (I remember reading it somewhere on this forum earlier and that guy had no clue what he was talking about). What to do with your sins depends on if you're going to click or idle.
About your next question lilith got a permanent 50% dmg bonus which stays even after resetting. You get one again once every 10 levels (so 110-120 etc) but when you reset you wont be getting a bonus again for levels you've already beaten.
And on the last one it's as you said, you lose all pets/teeth and Hellish Ritual buffs and keep the rest.
Other support the idle-game.
Other than that, there is barely something to think about. An Amnesia resets you to Level 1 where you have to click with your trusty bat and start leveling your minions again. Maxing your minions to get the most sins out of the amnesia would be the only thing to worry about.
Yes, you keep all sins/crystals/equipment/illnesses.
After that it is up to your playing style how you want to upgrade your illnesses, i.e. go for active mode (where you click/use buffs), or idle mode (you leave game run on background and you can be afk), or a hybrid one. In clicker heroes (very similar game to this) it was best to choose a hybrid solution.
I'm sure there will be guides how to optimise e.g. DPS characters (=move enhancements into selected DPS minion(s)) but you don't have to consider it at the beginning. Just rinse&repeat and try to collect as many sins as possible.
Awesome, thanks.
imho its better as f2p to get money going, rather then dps, as is with all games that have an "economy", so chest finding rate and anything that increases money. More money, faster going and further, dps can wait, the last pets cost a ton.
You keep sins, equipment, pet levels, you just lose all pets and have to train them again from scratch.
