Honestly it's not the ram that is the biggest issue. You want a fast nvme drive. Otherwise you're going to really hate spawning in.

it's most likely a placeholder. with the "auto ram cleaner" option in the settings, it runs fine on 16gb of ram at all high settings.

memory leaks i mean 32 does it for the most part, 16 gigs will do it but you can run into issues, i got 64 for two reasons it was on sell for 100 dollars and memory leaks at the time in the game were bad and it was eating my ram like a fat kid eats cake

Streets is an absolute beast of a map on your RAM. With 64gb it loads and runs smooth like butter. Without it... life is a struggle.

The game also has memory leaks, so if you play long enough the game will eventually run out of allocation heap and crash. Soooo. Yeah. More RAM means you can game longer before a crash.

64gb i think its 1st game i ever see that says it . i have only 32gb and i play star citizen which people said need 64gb and i never went over 32gb i have so maybe its just for them to be on safe side to say that

which means on 1.0 its not fixed ? no game really need 64ram . i mean your pc will compensete it and use your SSD space to make up for extra ram if oyu need you might have little lag or so or need to restart game every few hours

When I had 32gb of ram the game used roughly 24gb of ram. When I upgraded to 64gb of ram the game started using 36?gb of ram. I just remember the game basically scaling its ram usage with the amount of ram that I had in my PC.

i originally played tarkov in 2019 with 16 gigs , they added streets and they expanded maps .. i went to 32 which everything was mostly fine for me there . now i run 64 .. and i have no issues with any map . I can even run streets just fine on my computer not using their server to host it.
