Blackout Event - Black Division behaviour - PVE
On Thursday, they were marching through every sector, reacting to my footsteps and explosions by repositioning or pushing. After a few practice rounds, I was able to complete the first quests.

On Friday, they stopped using gas grenades, and today they are completely passive, making it much harder—if not impossible—to bait them. After a while, they simply walk back to the testing area in the middle of the map. Even forcing them to move closer to the first-floor corridor with grenades so I can peek them doesn't work anymore.

What is happening here?

ive found shoting on the floor infront of a doorway to bait them into a confined space work 70% of the time, but they still wallhack prefire with 0.1ms reaction time. Peak more than 1sec on a BD = 100% death.

At this point, it is more complicated than a "skill issue".
And you, it seems to be an "intelligence issue" if you are not able to understand that.

I understand that I got both achievements on pve and pvp before they nerfed the event. Granted pve was brutal. It was just very time consuming getting the PMC kills.

So, if they are passive, is it easier or harder to accomplish the event?
This is a real question, as I personnally am NOT doing the event right now because of those STUPID IA BOOSTED with all sort of SHI**Y Aimbot, Wallhack & bulletsponge "devs choices".

BTW, I would enjoy from SAM and / or other Devs if all the future events will always have that artificial difficulty or if you will at one point or another doing things in a better & clever way.
Because personnally, I would enjoy doing events but I'm not doing PVE to have the "feeling to play against cheaters" I purposely ran away from by chosing PVE.
I watched on YT some compilation of streamers trying to fight those BSG cheating bots.

How bad game needs to be to force such cheating AI?
But yet funniest thing for me was how they moved on the stairs. This shows how bad this game is made. There is no any change to movement while using stairs or overall going uphill and downhill in this game. ARMA Reforger have such feature! And this awfull unoptimised BSG mess called "hardcore" "painfull" "realistic" game have such hilariously silly lack of this mechanism making BOTs and players move on steep stairs like hamsters on speed! It looks R()...acted xD

Only sollution that I see (and I activelly do) is to play unofficial PvE with ability to tweak any BOT skills, abilities, aim, reaction ETC.

Because simply I see that even official PvE is annoyingly awfull because of how extremelly diverse online player abilities/skills are. So bosses cheat, have insane HP pool etc!
All that I changed for my own experience and my own needs. EFT does not give that freedom to create fun for ourselves without annoyance and enraging game mechanics.
For EFT there is no hope.
Things made for everybody is for nobody

Right, because there's totally a difference between jiggle peeking people and jiggle peeking bots. No crossover skill whatsoever.
