In the Monster selection screen, select Customize. In this screen the Skins, Body Parts and Steroids tabs are locked for most monsters, except for the initial two. If you unlock these (using the Monster Coins), it will allow for further customizing your monster, gaining some (dis) advantages in your stats. These can even be multipled by having a good monster name generated :).
Hope this helps a bit, I agree it's not as straightforward as with Man.
Thanks Bro
that helps a lot
I don't get how i unlock things. I'm in the screen, i see some lockers, but then, nothing is unlockable. Not sure how do to it.
Also what are the name colors for ? I guess white < yellow < purple, but then what ?
And what is the effect of steroid, beside visible size ?
It's supposed to be a bit of a mystery, and requires some figuring out. But I will try to help out a bit:
a) You need those big pink Monster Coins, make sure you have some.
b) Select the monster you want to customize (like I explained above, for the first two monsters stuff is already unlocked!)
c) Select an element (Skins, Body Parts or Steroids) that you want to unlock and click/press A.
d) Now you can play customize your monster.
Note: You need to have more monsters of the same 'type' unlock before you can exchange bodyparts.
Certain skins, bodyparts or steroids that you equip influence the statistics for your Monster. Go try it out.
The name colors refer to the type of name you have generated. Yellow multiplies certain statistics of your monster, purple ALL statistics of your monster.
Steroids influence your speed, too. Remember: if you are too small, you cannot knock helicopters out of the sky ;). And if you are too slow, you cannot outrun certain attacks.
For the rest you just have to figure it out yourself :)
