Game crashes every time :(

When I open it, it works and no longer after 5 minutes of playing the game, the game crashes. Can someone please help on ways that can stop this problem?

It was crashing every time for me too, but I solved like this:
- I started in 800x600 windowed at minimum settings
- I disabled everything in the "performance" options inside the game and played a level like this
- After that I relaunched in 1080p at maximum settings (with the performance stuff still turned off) and it runs without a hitch now

Well I got a new pc a long time ago where it works then. I think the problem was that my old computer's specs were garbage. But thanks.

so this issue is just to do with performance?
