I've yet to test it. As always with a leak be cautious but the same guy leaked the launcher last night, I checked it and it seemed to be clean. Best of luck!

yea noticed it went down after posting, I'm sure there'll be a re-up soon though. People are actively playing it seems so either way it's good news that H2M has seemingly been preserved.

Interesting. I do have a H2 exe that I grabbed off GitHub. It is a 3.0 build. When you launch it, it gives you a window saying play and about. But nothing works past that. I’m on Lino so I’m going to try on windows with the same file.

yea the download servers aren't up, the files that guy uploaded contained what the launcher downloaded before they took down said servers.

just gonna have to wait for him or someone who downloaded it to reupload said files.

There are MANY people streaming the game in the discord. The files were sent to many creators and other testers, if they really said it wasn't shared at all they were obviously lying otherwise youtubers wouldn't have been playing it.

I've skimmed through the launcher in IDA and didn't see anything obvious.
I've checked on hybrid-analysis and the only "malicious indicator" was that it had anti-VM (blocks running the game in a usermode virtual machine) which is pretty normal for games/mods to do.

I'd say it's better to wait a couple of days before running ANY modified executable on your system. Do it in a VM under a VPN in case.

understandable, I think in a few weeks there'll be a more streamlined way to play as well anyways. atm there's no proper launcher, they just archived the files that the launcher downloaded before the servers went down.
