cod 4 mp issue fatal error

i start cod 4 and it asks me to boot in safe mode then whenever i start cod 4 mp i get a fatal error code which crashes on me. i tried verifying the game files and deleting the player files within the program. i have also tried going into my nvidia control panel still same issue. i cant get the chance to go into my cod 4 settings to adjust anything because it crashes as soon as it starts.

same. theres a 3+ year old post about it already, apparently there has not been a fix yet. typical cod services unfortunately.

Load game in safe mode. then cancel population asap. go to multiplayer. press space-bar for setting. video. disable cache at the bottom. relaunch game and it will work
