man, no it's not. With the Server Browser u can choose a server, with this game u can not.
Just tell me where can i get a IP to play on this server every day, where can we change the slots of the servers, where can we find admins, where can we rent a server?
I'm just waiting to see a host migration..
Hi kristian,
Your Activision Case has been updated.
Hey Kristian, we heard you're having issues with matchmaking in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
I understand what you mean when you asked about Dedicated Servers. You wish to have the matchmaking capability that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has where players can choose what servers they play on. This system is not integrated in newer Call of Duty titles, we employ a different matchmaking system. However, we do have dedicated servers placed in different region to make matchmaking smoother, but this is different from the one employed in COD4: MW as stated earlier.. This just means that there are servers available for COD: MWR which aims to make matchmaking better.
We wish to share with you how matchmaking works for Call of Duty, please visit our official FAQ to learn more about it: https://support.activision.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/How-does-matchmaking-work-in-Public-Match/
Also to answer the predicament you were having during chat -- the game will generally match you with people who have the same or almost the similar condition and region as you. What you're seeing as 4 possible matches are lobbies that may be from a different region or lobbies are already full, that's why you're always matched in the same lobby. To avoid getting into same lobby you just left, you may want to try playing a different game mode or try playing the game on a diffent time.
We hope this answers the issue you have with the game. If there would be anything else, you may chat with us again or also reach us through Support.Activision.com or through twitter and facebook @ATVIassist
Right up there with BF and netcode. No such thing until then. What people meant was the refresh speed adjusted for the server to a higher hz...
Laughed my butt off today...
