Deal with it.

No. People buy GTX 1080 (just an example) videocards and 144 hz monitors for a reason. In this day and age, games should also cater to that crowd. No reason why a cap is even there. The original surely wasn't capped. Many fast (gaming!) screens have problems with low fps (stutters, tearing), so it's dumb to cap a game. If you have a 60 herz monitor and a middle of the road card, that's fine and dandy, but a game should cater to all players, not just a few.

False, the original was capped.
I've got a 1080 and a 120 hz monitor. More frames would be nice sure, but 90 is still pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ smooth. Would I like to see the cap removed? Sure, but there are way bigger problems in this game right now. Netcode and optimization should be much higher on the priority list.
The 90 fps cap will likely never go away, so we all have to
DEAL WITH IT.

.
The original was not capped. I still play it sometimes, uncapped. Just open the console and set it to whatever you want to. Netcode and optimization are also issues, but I guess, you should just 'deal with it' . Enjoy!

Good for you. And congrats on your purchase of a 120 hertz monitor which you don't tend to actually benefit from.

vsync is off and still 90fps cap, plus if it wasnt locked at 90fps, vsync would mean a 144fps limit because it caps the framerate at the refresh rate of your monitor.

they almost got the pc version right. They have an FOV slider and no mouse movement issues, but then you have to compile shader cache and play at 90fps or lower. It almost ruins the game for me... There is absolutely no reason for a game made in 2017 to not offer these options:steamsad:

i worked out what is causing the issue. In the settings graphic options click onto windows/fullscreen/windowed fullscreen mode and select fullscreen mode you are most probably on windowed fullscreen mode. you will then be able to change the Hz to match your monitors.
