Key binding

in the old mw you could bind keys to special actions. when i write key bindings to the keys_mp.cfg they disappear after loading the game, even if i tell steam to use to local copy of the files. is it possible to bind own keys (for chat input eg.) in mwr?

I'd be interested in an answer to this question myself. I'm left handed so use custom bindings on every game or sim. Backing up the key bindings usually saves me a lot of time and trouble, especially on a complex game. Backing up other settings like audio and graphics is a good idea too, especially if you have an aging PC like mine and have to tweak them down to run the game. Apparently, I need to learn more than their names and locations. I just began my own search for info, but I'll check back in if I find anything on it.
