Can't sprint when using a controller?

This only happens with Infinite Warfare and MW:Remastered. Any other game is perfectly fine with my controller. But when I use it in these COD games I cannot sprint, though everything else works fine. I've tried resetting controls, deleting and re-installing drivers, and uninstalling the games and nothing has worked so far. If an yone can help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated.

i use a controller and ive never had or ever heard of this happening before, although once when i used the keyboard and mouse i couldnt stop my guy spinning on the spot haha.

It's for a little one and my girlfriend mostly, but yeah sometime I like to stream to the tv and kick back with a controller.

It doesn't give any option to with a gamepad. Only your standard gamepad schemes.
