MW, MWR, MW2CR, which one is a better buy?
I was looking and I am confused.
The only two CODs I have are Mw2 and Mw3, looking to get Mw.

Is there really a difference between MW and MWR? It really just looks like improved graphics, which I could kind-of care less for.

Like about MW2CR compared to Mw2? I already have MW2, so is MW2CR better in any way? (MW2CR on battlenet)

Also, I am not a multiplayer player on Cod, so this is only campaign related.
Thank you.

The visual improvement for COD-MW1remastered is quite awesome, but the PC-port is quite messy. Many people have a lot of problems like crashes, shader cache issues and consumes a lot of storage place on your PC.
Currently it is running quite fine for me after shader cache problems in the beginning. Looks awesome, plays awesome. IT is an improvement... if you get it running properly.

If all you want is the campaign... then COD4-MW1 might be the better option. Visuals did age of course but still looks pretty decent. Not sure how stable it runs on modern OS like W10/11, it's been a while since the last time I played it.

Currently playing COD-MW2-2009. I have short freezes at the beginning after starting the game, but those go away over time. Otherwise I don't see any issues with it. Never played COD-MW2R though.

Maybe wait for COD-MW2R anyway. There are nor confirmations or announcements,... but who knows, maybe it comes one day to Steam....

Well, just tested COD-MW1remastered. SinglePlayer started fine, MultiPlayer crashed on populating the shader cache.......

Thank you.

So cod MWRemastered is Cod4:MW just better graphics.
COD MW2CR is just CodMW2 with better graphics campaign.

I play campaign, never multiplayer.
Does MW2CR include MW1 campaign or is it MW2 campaign just remastered.

Is there any difference between...
MWRemastered and MW1 aside from graphics.
MW2CR and MW2 aside from graphics.

Thank you!

the gameplay-feel for cod MWRemastered is a bit smoother, feels more modern. otherwise it is identical content wise as far as I remember

maybe watch a comparison video

MW2CR is its own separate release and not included in cod MWRemastered and I never played it

comparison video to mw2 as well:

Thank you for the comparison videos. I'll just watch those and decide.
