Optional Objectives in the Beginning

"Complete explosive weapons evaluation. Pick up frag grenades."

There AREN'T any gawdamned frag grenades. All I got was the pistol and rifle. There aren't any other weapons to pick up, so just HTF am I supposed to complete the optional objectives?

Look at the bottom of your screen. There is a compass with a gold dot. That gold dot tells you exactly the direction to walk and how far away your objective is. It will hold your hand for the entire game, and show you exactly where the grenades are.

No, it's NOT, you feckless gobdaw gowl. If it were intuitive, I wouldn't have had to ask, would I have? By definition that I was forced to make inquiries regarding this, it IS NOT intuitive. Perhaps it might help you to actually look it up in a dictionary...if that isn't too cruel a test of your intellectual prowess.

And as for the "hand-holding" insult, I really don't think asking what general BEARING to take is mollycoddling or pampering. I've been playing this series since it first came out, so I'm not a noob, either. I've been console gaming since 1978, and I started PC gaming in 1984.
