Disk Error; killhouse.

first the game started at some crazy huge resolution, got that fixed.

restart the game, and ctd.

restart pc, restart game, then Disk Error; killhouse.

i know i got the game free with the purchase of COD:IW, but its kinda annoying to have DoA software. Anyone got a fix yet?

Some got it working by installing Singleplayer, but apparently for some it's not working.

Some got it working by installing Singleplayer, but apparently for some it's not working.

ah, yeah i read that in other forum posts, but thats the wierd part. im not trying to use the multiplayer. i downloaded and installed the single player version and wanted to play the single player campaign. and its not going for me. currently doing a complete reinstall. will update if it fixes it.

and a complete reinstall fixed it.

For anyone else that may be experiencing these issues this is what I did;

1.Delete local files
2.Download and reinstall game
3.Verify cache
4.Restart pc

Worked just fine after that. Keep in mind, this is for Single Player Campaign. Have not touched multiplayer yet.

Hey Price, tons of people are starting new threads asking about disk read errors. Do you think that having a stickied thread specifically about disk read errors is a good idea?

The Known Issues on Activision's Web Page are still a problem with Windows 10. The Issues with slow loading, the issues with War Pig,Blackout, Safehouse are still causeing this game to crash, BSOD and what not. This game has crashed about 120 times and caused at least 20 BSOD's. I have a High end system. If someone can get in contact with them from steam, maybe they will do something. Activsion's support is non existent and it sucks at best. I will cease playing this POS till I see an update.

FIX single player campaign out of memory error
you need to make a copy of config_mp.cfg and rename it to config.cfg (in your player2 folder)i did not have any those files i had to get them elsewheres

I did everything...But the problem of modern warfare remastered has stopped working comes on mission 3 (Act-1 mission-1) aka Blackout, when Price and team meets Sgt. Kamarov. As soon as we turn towards the hill, the game stops working. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I restarted the game, I restarted the mission, I did the safe mode thing, but the game stops that this specific point, I can't play further, Help please. T_T

Those specs are pretty low, that is most likely why you're experiencing issues.

I don't have any lag in game though, I mostly have around 50-60 fps when playing. It's just the loading screen times take too long
