Game freezes in loading screen - Create2DTexture Error

Hey Guys,

I bought this game for the single player campaign. Now I am at the Mission "the swamp" and the game crashes in the loading screen. In the most cases I don't get a error message, but one time it got following:

I tried to reinstall the game and to repair the files with the steam feature already.
I have no idea how to fix the problem instead.

I'm using the newest RTX 2080 nvidia driver.
Please help because I realy want to play that game instead of refund it.

I have the same error. I tried everything but nothing helps. I'm using RTX 2070 SUPER.

I found an issue! Turn off in graphic settings "shader preload" and everything will run great! It helped me!

If your game crashes in the same spot as mine, here's how it MIGHT be solved.

Try this - Disable"shader preload" in options. Restart that level. This was suggested by someone else and it worked for me.

I cant even start the game at all is there a way to turn them off outside the game?

After my game crashed it asked me wether if I wanted to launch on safe mode or not, I clicked yes and now my game is locked at 50hz.

Similar situation. I can access sp shader options and turn them off, but sadly I can't access mp shader options, due the shaders trying load and completely freezing the game at start up. Hands are tied.

I can't get into the game. Been trying all sorts of stuff but nothing seems to work. Other games work great, this one though, not a chance.

Tried all the possible soultions. Singleplayer works, because I am able to turn off the shader preload option. But when I load the multiplayer, the game freezes and then crashes. Not even able to change something. This is really frustrating. I do have the newest drivers and also NVIDIA RTX 2060 with game-ready drivers. Nothing helps. all the workarounds end in failure. This is really sad. Was looking to play multiplayer. If anyone has an idea, please help!
