CPU usage at 100%

So I have a AMD fx 6300 cpu and the GTX 1060 3gb and when I play Cod4 RM it uses all of the cpu, the cpu fan gets really loud and then the frames drop to 15-20fps. What is the issue?? Also I can play all of the newest call of dutys including Infinite Warfare without this issue

I'd recommend looking over this. I remember when I had an AMD GPU, the drivers would uninstall itself which would then lead to my CPU going to 100%. I had to reinstall the drivers and/or find one that worked (373.06 for Nvidia works great). Probably not the same case, but worth a try.

Ok so I tried some of those things and it didn't fix it. I had a look in power options because of another problem on my pc and noticed that my motherboard software was installed. It made it's own power mode. So I uninstalled all motherboard programs and restarted the pc. I tried Cod 4 again and there was no issue. Temps were fine and the fan wasn't going crazy

I'm having some lag when the intros before the campaign missions start. I freezes and keeps loading and after 2 seconds it starts again. Changing graphics fro mextra to medium doesn't help.

Think i'm going to lower my resolution (1920 atm) and try that out. The game is playable, no problems, but during those short briefing intros cpu makes a lot of noise.
