1. Is Warhounds the same game as Sparta 2035?

Sparta 2035 was released exclusively in Russia and was available only in Russian. Warhounds is the international version of Sparta 2035, available in English and other languages.

2. How is hit chance calculated?

When aiming at an enemy, you can see a panel on the right showing all the factors that affect your hit chance. The quality of the enemy’s cover is one of the most important factors.

Each bullet’s hit chance is calculated separately. Good cover also significantly increases the chance of a graze, which deals reduced damage.

3. How do I buy a drone?

First, build the Workshop and sign a drone contract. After that, you will be able to purchase drones in the Workshop.

4. Do soldiers’ stats increase?

Yes. Soldiers’ stats improve as they level up. The specific stats that increase depend on their class.

5. Does the game support mods?

Not yet, but we hope to add mod support in the future. We would love to give players this opportunity.

6. Can I play Warhounds on Steam Deck?

We are currently waiting for the official compatibility review from Valve. However, Warhounds is already playable on Steam Deck, and the controls have been configured for it.

7. Can I speed up combat animations?

Yes. During a mission, you can find the animation speed button in the upper-right corner of the screen. You can enable or disable increased animation speed at any time.

8. Can I customize my soldiers?

Veterans cannot be customized, but special skins are available for them. All other soldiers can be customized.

You can change a soldier’s appearance in the Locker Room or by clicking “Change Appearance” on their character card.

You can also rename a soldier. Open the Barracks and click the edit button next to their name at the top of the screen.

Enjoying the game so far, kudos!

For item 6, Steam Deck. I was going to play the other night but noticed the saves from my PC were not appearing. Is this a misconfiguration issue? I had dug around and I thought I had seen compatibility for that intended, would this fall under Steam Cloud saves?

Fantastic game and what JA3 should have been!!!!!
I dont know where to suggest this, can we get "dont move my mouse/camera" and show/hide treetops" like in Jagged Alliance?

Can melee be explained? It seems to do an initial damage and then next turn you either die or they die? That second turn is always a kill or death?

Can you, the developer, explain the fact that Sparta 2035 was funded by Russian government?

This game is the English translation of Sparta 2035, and you are the same developer as that for Sparta 2035, right? So technically Warhounds is also funded by Russian government.

Is there a roadmap of future updates, events to come? Also, even on the easiest setting, there are sooooo many enemies that reinforce into the map. My characters still die, even tho i turned perma death off.
