I see sometimes, when you recruit an officer they have a -3 loyalty modifier for being their clans sworn enemy. This will show up even if I'm taken the clan out of the game completely.
Is that -3 loyalty for being their 'sworn enemy' permanent or does it go away with time.
I've also seen releasing and recruiting the officer as a ronin makes the penalty go away but you can't guarantee where they'll decide to go after they get released.
They were your mortal enemy a day before, of course they will have lingering resentment for a while because you conquered them.
@hamysho - Just like in real life, people remember what happened to them, and what you've done. From what I understand, the modifier will reduce over time, but it can take years, not months to happen. That resentment is just one of the things you need to keep in mind when recruiting.
Most of the time they say something like " I will see you in hell" or " Afraid of my talents? Cant blame you..."
Everyone with an opposing ideology will die. ^_^
Nope, if you like it do it ^_^
Also if you want to remove a very dangerous enemy officer
