Sue Harukata's Rebellion help
How, exactly do you get Sue Harukata to rebel and take over the ouchi clan? i've seen it happen with the AI exactly once, but i cant seem to get it to happen when playing as the ouchi myself. (I also havent seen it fire again for the AI ouchi.)

Any assistence is appreciated. - my thanks in advance.

Not sure, but sometimes the best suggestion I can give is try different scenarios to see if you get some kind of Event that leads to a historical quest or something for it. Once you get the Historical Quest look at the listed Failure Conditions and you can get a pretty good judge of what is needed to activate the quest/event.

Ouchi started their decline around the mid 1550s I think, so that may be a good starting point to check in terms of the scenarios listed there. (naturally some are excluded via DLC so you may have consider purchasing that to get the extra start date options..)

I have played through the 1550s a few times to no avail, but i'll probably keep trying. If i do figure out what exactly triggers it i'll post it here.

Though everyone should still feel free to offer any assistence they may be able to offer. :P
I would also advise to play on AI Settings of Low/Low (Aggression/Intel) only cause you want as many of the clans in place..

That is my current game as the Uesugi and started at 1534 and up to 1549, and while the super clans have expanded , they haven't to a greater degree that's it throwing out the historical events.

As I'm still consitently getting em.. Just got the one of the Miyoshi overthroughing the Hosoakawa for example.. And the Oda events are happening at a nice pace too (meaning Tokugawa got kidnapped by the Clan and is hostage to the Oda clan at the moment... etc)

Granted, keep in mind that can be a rather boring setting since the AI doesn't attack you often, but if you're playing to see more of the historical events than anything else, who cares honestly , heh.

Also don't exapand outside your Historical Quests that are given to you.. When you get a historical quest to capature a castle in a region for example, than you got full go to get the rest of the region if you like. Naturally I'd like at the objective first, cause sometimes you get Objectives that lead to take castles after castles within the Region.

I played exclusively in that region my first three tries. The common theme for the betrayal which happened in all my games is the Oichi suffering a devastating loss to the Amago.
July of 1551, auto start event, but he don't take it over, but control through a puppet. Not sure if the same if you play Ouchi.

I fear you might not be able to have that event as the Ouchi, if Sue as the ruler is what you want you could always marry him to a daughter and retire in his favor.

Did you get the Jinbo clan quest? I didn't get it because when I got the quest to capture both Toyama castle and Hirai castle, I also captured their remaining bases xD
thanks for the highlights.
The reason for betrayal was that the father stopped expanding the territory. If you notice, Ouchi expand aggressively until certain year and stop. Soon after, the Son would get upset and kill the father. So, stop expanding after certain point may help to trigger that event.
