can be amazing a new Kessen based on Japan setting ( no Kessen II please ) , more historical than fantasy ( no special actions of officers ) , more manouvre than mindless rush :D a serious remake of Kessen 1 with graphic of SOI and Dynasty Warriors.

Kessen 3 was the best in my opinion. Best story, best characters, most developed mechanics, everything was easier to understand and customize, and it could present a really good challenge when it wanted to.

If there was to be a 4, thogh, I hope it would be either set during Sekigahara, as the original Kessen showed how much potential that scenario had and it can be further expounded on (nostalgia value, too), or during the early Sengoku that lets you play as all the major clans who have their own unique stories (Oda, Imagawa, Mori, Takeda, Otomo, etc.).

Or maybe set it immediately after Nobunaga's death where you can play as the Hashiba, Tokugawa, Akechi and Shibata/Oda remnants vying for dominance, and later unlock other potential unifiers like the Uesugi, Mori, Hojo and Shimazu.

kessen 1 was amazing I really wish we could get a hd reboot.

All of them were good, but Kessen 3 was my favorite, it was the only game where I could find Tokugawa Ieyasu to be "likable". In my opinion Kessen 4 should be set in the Genpei era, wherein you could prevent the fall of the Taira, or Yoshitsune's apparent death. Yoritomo vs Yoshitsune anyone?
