What's your ideal difficulty?

What level of difficulty do you like when playing this game? Some people prefer having things work easily for them, if they're just looking for a relaxing game, but others like to have everything at the maximum difficulty for some crazy campaigns that test their wit. Do you fit either of those categories, or do you prefer something different?

I personally have everything on mid except for soldier recovery, which I have on slow for both me and the AI, and range of control on unlimited.

I like having soldiers recover at a slow rate because it means that victories in battles actually mean something, and you can make some progress against the enemy, rather than them instantly sending out an army to have a rematch once you win a mass battle.

I also have the range of control on unlimited because I like having the option to handle everything myself, particularly in terms of mobilising armies. I find that the AI never attacks strongly or competently enough for my tastes, so I usually take control when I'm on the offensive. I will, however, leave some areas under AI control if they don't see much action.

I personally play normal difficulty almost exclusively but i do have an edit difficulty where everything is normal except aggression which is set to low for when i want to play a super tiny clan or just play particularly slow paced

As hard as humanly possible. I want to lose so badly but it's hard.

I play high difficulty. But I don't give the cpu any advantage.

I play on extreme, wish it could be a little harder.

I usually play with limitations. Such as I'll start the game with a fortress with a hero that has 1 point on each category. After that I set the game setting so that the AI has the biggest benefit and I have the least while also playing only as a Vassal until you and your lord are left in the game.

I think that after familiarizing yourself with the game even hardest is easy at which stage you then change the troop losses...

I like to play in extreme but then depend on the location, getting swarm by like 4-5 daimyo in a first 4-5 turn is not a good ideas. Castle siege in this game is really bad which ruin the first 10-15 turn until you can get to a good position to defense yourselves with enough officer and troops :). after those turn, it is easy to steam roll.
