A few questions about character creation.

Hey, so, I've barely ever touched character creation outside of creating one guy to play as in these games before, so I wonder...

1 - If I add custom portratis to the game and don't assign them to characters, can randomly generated characters (like your children for example) use them? Or are they limited to ones under Male/Female categories? And if so, is there a way to add more portraits to these specific categories so random characters have more portraits?
2 - If I create a character and play as their father, are they guaranteed to be born in whatever their birth year is?
3 - Are they guaranteed to be born if I do not play as their father?

• As far as I know custom characters do *not* have randomly generated children. That feature never crossed the bridge to Sphere of Influence despite being present in ROTK, God only knows why. Your characters will only have kids if you create them.
  
  
• I believe that as long as a custom character's father is alive, they will be born. However, I've never a 2nd generation, so don't quote me on this one.

Custom characters do in fact have randomly generated children in the same exact way normal officers do
I believe randomly generated children only use portraits exclusively under the Male/ Female portrait tabs

I'd like to add that one of my male characters (who's clan leader in my game) only had randomly generated daughters. No randomly generated sons.
