Well it's just my opinion. Not that scourge is a bad game. This game for me is easier to command and still difficult enough in tactics. I find it just better playable.

i dont undertund that:( they have the option too make more money with steam and realease a steam version from scourge of gettysburg ,so every one with out this dumm creditcard can buy the game...but they dont doo..seams they have enouth money:(..but okay take command is verry good game with mods etc^^but would by fine too have both games in steam for peopel hu love civil war games...and there are not many good out there:(

I have the 150 anniversary edition, comes with the game + all exp,top community mods built in, updated to the lastest version. I would buy it again on steam.

SoW is a Matrix game while this is Paradox if memory served. MMG wot made TC2M doesn't exit these days but the devs generally are with Norb in Norbsoft making the SoW games under the Matrix banner.

Worth noting that SoW Waterloo is on Steam but not Gettysburg for whatever reason. Likely just Matrix being Matrix. It's also expensive as all hell. But totally worth it.
