Wayward Terran Frontier: Zero Falls

Wayward Terran Frontier: Zero Falls

Can we not edit the purchased ships?
I bought the Boulder from the shipyard, but I can't edit it. I have all the available blueprints unlocked, but when I go into the ship editor at the player station there's only the option to build a new one.

There is a new design button where you can design the ship to your liking

Screenshot or a hint of where to find that spacial button would be very useful. Thank you in advance.

If you are buying the equipable pre-build ship I don't think you can edit it, it also don't add to the editable blueprint from my experience

Im also having difficulty trying to edit a pre-built ship. Additionally i dont see a way to create/design a ship. Ive gone to my base and to Logistics, but there are no ships to spawn. (side note, figured out from here i can change base turrets).

This is my feeling too. Too bad.

You have to have purchased a ship blueprint from a trade station and researched it. Hit "I" for the research interface. Then you can build and edit ships from scratch. Looks like you need a good bit of resources first. This may be bugged though as I have ~2400 iron stored, but the ship builder is showing 0.

You also need to research all the modules to be able to remove them from the designs.

Wait. Did you buy a ship or a blueprint? The shipyard sells ships. The part dealers in mega malls sell blueprints. You need blueprints.

You need to deposit resources into your account instead of leaving them in the cargo hold at the station

Since you have already moved them to the station storage, you can go to logistics and right click on the base and choose "Unload Cargo" from the context menu so it will store the ore resources into your account.

I thought so too but seems you need to "sell" your resources to your home base shop which apparently places the resources in storage for you to use for shipbuilding.

Sorry i know it's not on topic as such, but anyone have an idea where the resources end up when you scrap a ship??

Supply Depot is used to deposit general goods into your account, or deposit small amounts of ore from your ship. If you have a full load of ore, it will be faster to use the unload function.

You can scrap a ship? Ive got two ships parked at my home. since Marv is ueless as a pilot (cant use Travel drive), they are just wasting space.

huh i'm doing something wrong then because after having scrapped 3 ships I still only have the 1.6k iron I "sold" to the home station. The ships were all some i'd picked up as salvage when flying around, and not bought at a ship vendor.

Anywho ty for the help, i'll go make a seperate post about this.

do note that resource quantities are not updated in real time, and you will need to close and open the UI again to see changes after depositing/withdrawing resources.
