repulse weapon enchantment for melee?
Even though its actually meant for Blood Assassin, I just noticed how the Repulse weapon enchantment gives a really high percentage to armor (where my Fist of Stone's Armor enchantment gives ~19% to armor with skills at lvl 40, my Blood Assassin's Repulse gives +35% to armor iirc + a repulse effect). That seems crazy good for melee builds, but I am not sure how experience will be divided. Will it split between melee experience also over ranged and combat? Or will the weapon enchantment not effect melee experience at all?

As soon as I can pick up Ressa I can experiment with it a bit. But it seems fun for a melee + curse hybrid build.

It shouldn't split your experience at all, since the requirements for Fist of Stone/Blood Assassin exp division is that your character has to use melee/range weapons respectively. Since you'll be using a blood assassin spell in a melee character, you should not be getting ranged/combat magic exp.

Ah bummer. Would have been nice otherwise (stuff like Living Death could also have greatly benefited melee tanks together with toughness).

My bad, dunno why I wrote melee instead of range/combat magic at the end. It's fixed now, you'll get melee exp but not ranged/combat magic.

So I have used Finala for this experiment and it does pay off now and its quite fun. Begin of Veteran mode is a good place to start building up Finala considering its imo the easiest moment in the game. I did change the build a bit:
- reset Finala's skills in Broken World.
- level Ranged with Manashot and an ok bow to get the skill to improve Repulse Weapon Enchantment (this will go quite rapidly since Finala will have high Intelligence so Manashot is very strong). I raise the skill to level 7. Ranged Survival is also recommended (I put 2-3 points in it).
- level up Nature magic to level 6 or 12, this will go really fast because of the high intel This is very important to get initial Fist of Stone skills, which because of the high intel are quite strong (especially the defensive one, somewhere like 9 points seems best). You can optionally level Nature to level 12 for good summoning skills.
- you can also go for Curses but I prefer using the Necro pet since you will need those skill points and the pet has a curse that benefits melee and mages.
- in between level Melee. I prefer to focus on 2-handed since you can use mage staves right from the start for an ok starter weapon to level Melee quickly. Working towards level 2 a 3 Smite power seems most effective (good area stun too).
- later on you can increase Ranged to 36 to get that toughness like skill and the 1 point skill that boosts dexterity & intel.
- if you have an other character with Stone Form than that really helps keeping Finala alive.
