Legendary/MonsterLevel Adjustment mod
I'm using the Legendary Mod, and the monsterlevel adjustment was working fine for a couple playthroughs, and I can't figure out what broke it (might have been accepting early game quests?)

When I turn on "monster_adjust_declared = true" in the ini I can sort of see what's happening- it's taking them down from an appropriate level (~81) down to 47. (It shows 81=>47 in the text). Hoping someone would have a guess as to what's going on.

Well, what map are you playing, and what is the name of the monster?
May be that there is something misconfigured about it...

Generally some regions in the maps of the Legendary Mod have local level ranges for monsters - which is a nice feature, but can be too limiting sometimes (player's hero can enter the map with level 9 or level 90).

However on one side of your (yellow) storage vault there should be a button to influence the behaviour of the level assignment.
Push this button a few times - a message will appear.
In your case avoid the 'local' mode, push it unitl a message with 'all' appears, or just disable it supposed you are fit to deal with level 80 monsters.

It's the regular DS2 campaign, it's on elite difficulty. Disabling the level adjustment using the button on the vault works- that makes the mobs outside aman lu are around 81, which is fine for now. I'm level 77 so that's not a big deal.

However with the mod on, it is reducing their level to 47-50 despite me being level 77 for some reason. Unsure why the mod thinks I am low level. Thank you for your help so far, I have been very impressed with the legendary mod so far

I have a similar situation. On dificulty "Mercenary" everything seemed to be fine for both DS and BW. Once i started playing on "Veteran" the adjustment mod lowers the level of mobs to what seems the "default area level" despite me being level 60+. Deactivating the mod on the yellow vault box raises the level of mobs. For example, with the mod activated, the mobs around and in the Haku cave were lvl 39. When deactivated they were 48. Now I reached character level 80+ and the mobs around and in the cave are 41 with activated mod. With no mod they are again level 48. For some wicked reason the mod thinks I am around lvl 40 or something but it should recognize much more. As far as I read (unfortunately all the mod source pages are stone age old and gone offline and the legendary mod is only refering and has no infos about that itself) the mod should make the mobs the level you party has in average, but it doesnt in my case now... I did not find any workaround so far. If anyone has more infomation, please feel free to share
