Governors not introducing me to their beautiful daughters

As the title says, governors aren’t introducing me to their beautiful daughters. I have baron status on all but the Spanish, and I have a peacock feather hat which is supposed to guarantee invites to all dances... yet any time I visit a governor who is supposed to have a beautiful daughter, she never seems to be around! This isn’t an issue with any plain or attractive daughters, they always show up. Am I doing something wrong here? Any tips?

I agree with both it is a problem faced by many in the UK as well! I also agree that removing and reloading is best way forward. However just to note I am assuming you mean you are never invited to see the Governors daughter. If you occasionally don't get invited then I have had that as well. I am not sure why, it might be something to do with them being beautiful and you are not a Baron or you have just been promoted. However I cannot be sure as if it is very occasionally there might be a reason that may be intentional. I have been invited to see the Governors daughter after getting promoted and when I have not reached the required rank so it may be there is a general bug, but it is very occasional - maybe twice a game.
