How to set up game perfect for a ps4 controller
Been playing this game since I was a kid but I'm on a laptop now so some of the keybinds for the game mess with other actions such as turning down the volume of my laptop and such. is there anyways I can fix my keybinds or set up the game to be played on controller like the original. Is so, please tell me the easiest way to.

Usually the laptop has a Special Key, in the same category as "Alt" or "Shift", the purpose of which is to press and hold while pressing a normally regular key, in order to restore its Normal Function instead of its Special Laptop function.

E.g., my laptop has "Volume Down" or some such for F6, so when I need the actual F6, I have to press and hold the Special Key then press F6. Same for Shift-F6. Press and hold Special Key, Shift, then F6.

It's a pain in the posterior to be sure.

Another thing you could try, for about $20 or so you can get a full-size wireless keyboard. At least, you can for a PC, I don't know about a Mac or a PS4.

You plug a little USB nano transmitter into a USB port, then you can use the external keyboard instead of the built-in one. It won't have any Special Laptop keys, so all the keys will work just like on a regular PC. This would be especially useful to get the full-size numeric keypad that is often missing from laptops. The navigation, sea battles, sword-fighting and dancing controls are much easier on the numeric keypad.

Thanks, I knew that I could do an external keyboard. I was hoping to be able to set it up on a PS4 controller, but it's all good. I'll just have to grab a keyboard.

you can turn on Steam Input and bind your ps4 controller to keyboard buttons, just like with Steam Controller
just play it through Big Picture
