What is your favorite vessel?

I've only played this for like 3 hours but it really is a great game. I was able to score a Royal Sloop really early and i can outmanuver pretty much every other ship I come across. I also captured a brigantine and a brig, but don't know if those are better or if it just comes down to personal prefferance. What is your preffered ship?

Brig of war! its the perfect balance of speed and Power, fully upgraded, its a force to be reckoned with. It can take any ship. and with a full crew complement it can board any ship as well. Grape a few ships and take em back to town do some minor repairs, sell the cargo and then sell the captured ship, you can make a tidy profit doing that. oh and be sure to kill off at least 40 to 50% ( or at least as meny as you can) of the crew before you split the plunder. less crew = more money for you.

I always steal Blackbeard's Adventure Prize Frigate and deck that baby out. Frigates are moderately fast and can carry the full gun complement so they will absolutely wreck most ships you come across. It's very satisfying sending a full broadside and watching it annhilate your opponents health bar.

Never tried the Brig of War, sounds fun.

The brig of war, it is: fast,easy to manouver,small so a smaller hitbox and it can have a lot of guns.

war galleon is the best. with35 cannons on board, even a scratch will result in crippling dissaray for enemy ships, or instant sinkage.

queen annes revenge is captain morgan's ship in this game but in real life it was blackbeard's ship, i think its a brig of war.

My favourite (if I can get my hands on one) is actually the Ship of the Line with its 100 tons capacity and 48 cannons, it's basically an even bigger Large Frigate.

Royal Sloop is my favourite, has a nice number of cannons and is very mobile.

Sloops cause lower crew and faster so you can skip the cannon phase and skip straight to cheesing combat with a rapier...
