any good MODs?

I played this game a lot years ago and i would like to play it through again. But the game is quite easy if you have played it several times and i cant find any good mods out there (where the download links still work).

One mod that sounded quite interesting was one that makes enemies respawn up to several times upon beeing killed

The best mods in my opinion are two total conversion mods. One is called Lands of Hyperborea, the other is Mageworld.

yea - only mods that I have seen are total conversion mods - to bad - I really like the standard game - best in the series - I was looking for High Rez texture mods for the base game - None to be found 8( .....

oh there are tons of mods...many have been lost due to the passage of time, but here is a site that has managed to scrape together several of them.

Good mods are the Dark/Light Elves and Cat Mansion (NOT to be used together). I also use the cosmetic enhancements (prettier spells, basically), and an XP balancer. I'm currently trying to get an inventory mod to work, but having diffiulty.

Yea I have been to that site- good site - but again - no better texture mods for base game 8P

What i am mostly interested in is difficulty mods. I really liked the game the way it is, just after several play throughs it gets too easy.

Btw can anyone give me more details on the blondi/dsx or num PP mod? They all increase the monsters power but dont state exactly the details.

Why do NONE of the old inventory mods work? I've tried like 7 of them. Still getting the same backpack, even when creating a new game.

I stumbled upon this thread and thought I should say hello. I was a popular mod creator for DSLOA from 2002 - 2005. I still have tons of stuff backed up on my hard drive because like I said I have tons of work that I didn't want to throw away. I figured one day I might want to mess around with DSLOA for old times sake. If you played this game back then you should recall [VV~][~(~]{~e~])] mod and Alpha mod. (I helped with Alpha mod, [VV~][~(~]{~e~])] mod is my own. If anybody needs anything or needs help/questions, just reply or message me. I used to host XP mods with summoning creature spells for people to level up. I was the invincible glowing ghost, dragon and maljin, seck, etc. You could not kill me lol. Those days were a lot of fun. too bad ZoneMatch is gone!

I remember the Monty inventory mods. For those of you who do want to play DSLOA I can easily make this game more challenging for you or anything else you can dream of. I've done it all. This game was and still is a very good game in my opinion.

If you have the time, PLEASE hop over to Nexus and upload anything you have thats good (even if you didn't write it, since stuff is so old I doubt the mod authors will care. It appears that ds.gemsite is finally dying of neglect.

i have my Wicked mod that i made a long time ago. i have spells that spawn chickens, monsters, etc and the loot they drop is insane! HaHa! I also made a secret amulet that when worn renders you invincible in pvp and single player. i have that and a whole lot more from back in the day. It's all just memories now. the game is old and there have been new updated releases since DSLOA

Hello there, I use to play DSLOA back in the day when it was brand new. I had many characters and was in many clans (MMC), «§§» & a few others I forgot their names. I use to run around as all the monsters, seck, maljin, ghost, drakes, gargoyles, bandits. I use to host modder gatherings and we all use to pvp and test out mods I still play DSLOA from time to time just reliving the glory days. I run a forum community where I am trying to gather current players to keep the scene alive, we connect through hamachi and host multiplayer games that show up in network on DSLOA. It would be nice if you joined the forum and share your work of what you did post up some photos of those glorious moments and if you ever wanted to play with someone im always down to play.
