Dungeon Siege

Dungeon Siege 1 - Legends of Aranna?
Just curious, but, is this the expansion Legends of Aranna version (which included the original) or just the plain old original Dungeon Siege 1 included in the complete package? Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing. Also, for Dungeon Siege 2, does it include Broken World?

Legends of Aranna and Broken World are not included in this "Comlete" package for some reason. I would like these expansions as well. There was also a Dungeon Siege for PS2 only (Throne of Agony) that I would like too. There is still a market here IMO.

Ah, that's too bad, but thanks for the heads up. Agreed on the market potential, the old games still stand up well and have some good mods out there for them.

I just got the pack and I was really excited to see Dungeon Seige on steam so i basically bought in compulsively. If I would have realized the expansions weren't included I wouldn't have got it. I got it mosly for DS1 and wanted to try out DS2. I don't care much about 3 but I assume thats what they figured everyone wanted and didnt throw in the expasions for the first 2. I'm really bummed out about it. They need to throw those in, for free in my opinion.

I would also like to have the expansion available. I'd even pay for an "Expansion Pack" that includes all the expansions for DS1&2.

Totaly agree with you, I also bought it for DS 1 and DS 2, DS 3 is just crap in my opinion. And got same disapointment when i found out DS 1 and DS 2 is without multiplayer option, and DS 1 missing endgame... So just a crap buy, and i hope that expansions and game fixes for DS 1 and DS 2 will be free as DLC realy soon.
Otherwise I'll be happy to anounce STEAM as thiefs and pocket lifters, for selling these games that don't include multiplayer, even thou its stated on the selling site that they are...

Well...I WAS going to buy the complete pack until I discovered that there's no Legends of Aranna and no multiplayer. I mostly played LoA and only barely scratched at DS1, never bought DS2. I was willing to buy the WHOLE pack so I could play Legends of Aranna again. Fail Steam is fail.

I think LoA and Broken World had different publishers, so it is most likely an IP (intellectual property) issue. Maybe Valve can (eventually) make it happen.

Legends of Aranna was just like the original Dungeon Siege published by Microsoft Game Studios. So in case of LoA there was no different publisher. Only difference is that LoA was made together with Mad Doc Software.
Broken World got indeed an other publisher and that's Take Two Interactive.
But probably it has to do with it that Take Two acquired all the publishing rights of Dungeon Siege.

This is such UNBELIEVBLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I have a rare problem with the way DS's "CD check" interacts with Win7 64bit in that I am FORCED to use a CD crack to get it to work.

I've tried TNL tweak, compatibility modes even finding an .ISO of the game and mounting it, it the same problem everytime. The game doesn't even start unless I have a crack.
This is BS because I was trying to play online with a friend, the crack does not allow me to see or join any games and the legit version doesn't work anyway.

The only version that has worked for me without a crack is the Steam version, which I've just learned -DOES NOT HAVE THE EXPANSION-, making it useless since everyone has the expansion and are lucky enough to get their game to work. I'm not lucky.

"Complete" package lmao, what a ripoff. Unless Steam decides to add LoA playing this game online is an impossibilty for me.

I see the "Complete Dungeon Siege" at 75% off, I buy them automatically, just for the convenience to reinstall them without having to ramage through my old games collection in the basement.

Unfortunately, it is not complete. Neither the Legends of Aranna nor the Broken World expansion is included. And I bought the bundle mostly for the two first games which may be old but were fun to play.

Glad I still have my original DS 1 & Legends of Arannia haha. Well this has put me into perspective to only buy DS 2 then.
I didnt know about the missing xp for ds2 (thanks for the note on that) it does suck that the "complete" package is missing stuff. Ive only played ds1 and for 5$ not a big loss. I agree stream should put up the exp.

I'm rather upset there's no Legends of Aranna. I owned LoA but never got around to actually finishing it, but it added some very nice spells to the game. I was honestly hoping for a chance to play the expansion game, but obviously that's not part of the "complete" edition.

These were a couple of my favourite games back in the day, but I'll pass buying them untill the add-on packs are available.
