Otherwise I'll be happy to anounce STEAM as thiefs and pocket lifters, for selling these games that don't include multiplayer, even thou its stated on the selling site that they are...
Legends of Aranna was just like the original Dungeon Siege published by Microsoft Game Studios. So in case of LoA there was no different publisher. Only difference is that LoA was made together with Mad Doc Software.
Broken World got indeed an other publisher and that's Take Two Interactive.
But probably it has to do with it that Take Two acquired all the publishing rights of Dungeon Siege.
I have a rare problem with the way DS's "CD check" interacts with Win7 64bit in that I am FORCED to use a CD crack to get it to work.
I've tried TNL tweak, compatibility modes even finding an .ISO of the game and mounting it, it the same problem everytime. The game doesn't even start unless I have a crack.
This is BS because I was trying to play online with a friend, the crack does not allow me to see or join any games and the legit version doesn't work anyway.
The only version that has worked for me without a crack is the Steam version, which I've just learned -DOES NOT HAVE THE EXPANSION-, making it useless since everyone has the expansion and are lucky enough to get their game to work. I'm not lucky.
"Complete" package lmao, what a ripoff. Unless Steam decides to add LoA playing this game online is an impossibilty for me.
Unfortunately, it is not complete. Neither the Legends of Aranna nor the Broken World expansion is included. And I bought the bundle mostly for the two first games which may be old but were fun to play.
