How the save system works in coop multiplayer ?
Hi guys. I know about tungle, hamachi etc and I already played that great game (single player) years ago.
The thing is I wanna play it with my brother in coop and the question is:

Is it possible to start the game together, play a bit and save the progress (inventory, level, stats for both characters) to continue later ?
Thank you!

It's all saved locally. Everything will pick up where you left off unless one of you decides to venture further on your own, that gets saved too.

The save works a bit differently in multiplayer. It doesn't save your location but it will automatically save your inventory and stats when you log out. When you play again, you choose one of about 10 or so starting locations, so it's optimal to memorize those locations and try to end your session at one of them so you can pick up from there. There are level requirements for each location but they are fair and you should be around the level required by the time you get to them.

Thank you guys!
And what about monsters\loot\quest triggers ? Are they stay the same how I left them or it will be brand new world (like I started new game) ?

The map usually gets reset when you leave. Loot gets reset, what you left on the ground will despawn. Your quest log will still be there (and I think what you did in the quest doesn't have to be done again) but basically you start a new game when you start a multiplayer session again.

Have a nice time playing o/ This game is most enjoyable in multiplayer, so enjoy what you can enjoy ;)

Saving in MP is a bit different the "Save and Exit" only saves the characters, not the world, so if you go back again into the game you have to do all of the same stuff and fight all the same critters over again, and never get to finish the game or even get to higher level missions. The only thing that saves is if you make it to the next town or to one of those teleporter things then your character should have access to those areas the next time you play. Sort of like the way Diablo II worked, if you made it to the next Waypoint it would remember that next time.
