Exception error message w/win11

My computer recently updated to Windows 11. When I try to play my game it crashes with an error message stating "Exception Detected" and two buttons; "Learn More" and "Cancel". Should I uninstall and reinstall or is this not compatible with Windows 11 and I am just stuck.
Any help would be appreciated.

from what i have seen in the guide section, it is not compatible with windows 11. some say if you buy from another source that it'll work. I think it has something to do with the steam version specifically.
