To find the path where the Dungeon Siege program is installed, go to your Library in Steam, right-click the Dungeon Siege entry and pick Properties
in the Properties dialogue, click the Local Files tab
Click Browse Local Files button.
It should open a Windows explorer where the DungeonSiege.exe file is located.
You want to copy that path.
Mine for example is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dungeon Siege 1\DungeonSiege.exe.
Now find the "Ultima V- Lazarus v1.20" shortcut that the Lazarus install created, right click it and pick Properties.
Open the Shortcut tab, and look at the text in the Target box.
It probably has something like:
"C:\Dungeon Siege 1\DungeonSiege.exe" map_paths=!"c:\Lazarus\resources" res_paths="c:\Lazarus\resources"
With my example path above, I change the short cut to this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dungeon Siege 1\DungeonSiege.exe" map_paths=!"c:\Lazarus\resources" res_paths="c:\Lazarus\resources"
The quotes are important becuase the paths have spaces in them.
I am currently playing Dungeon Siege and found out you can also play the Ultima V and VI remakes using the DS engine. Thanks to your instructions I can hopefully make this work.

But thanks for your time. It was appreciated.
