DirectDraw fatal error
Hello, ive spent past 2 days trying to solve my problem, ive installed DS1 but i cant run the game, i get an error what says that i dont have device which supports DirectDraw, which is absurd.

http://prnt.sc/c6xz8z

I play on a notebook.
win7 64bit
I have an integrated Intel HD card and an AMD Radeon 8600M card.

I even ran dxdiag and everything was fine there. Ive looked up old forums and i couldnt solve my problem, most of the links ive found in these threads are already expired, they are all unavailable.

I tried installing older versions of directx: 8.1a;8.1b; 9.0c; 7.0 is not supported by win7.
I also have the latest graphic card drivers installed ofc.

I have read DS1 discussion thread here on steam, i couldnt really find anything to fix this ♥♥♥♥. Most people have graphic issues or stability issues with the game while i cant even run it.

your laptop won't be an HP Pavillion by any chance ? that's what i had awhile ago. Win7 64bit with an Intel graphics chip AND a Radeon graphics chip. i had issues with other games. here's what solved it. go into your BIOS (if you don't know how, consult manufacturer web site), change
the setting from dynamic to fixed (can't remember where this is, so you might have to look for it) and select the Radeon chip as primary. hope this helps.

Im having the exact same problem. Win7 64 bit desktop. It must be a windows driver thing. Please let me know if you found a fix.

If you get DirectX 9.0c from software patch, it should work fine.
