How to import/export single player character to multiplayer, retail version.

Hi. I have the retail version of the game where I can get lan multiplayer. Whenever I import my character from single player to multiplayer, my character is level one. I hear, or at least have the impression, you can take your single player character as is, to multiplayer. How do I do this plz?

You simply import it from the lobby menu.

Yes, I've done that but my character was level one, not the level it actually is much higher from single player game. All characters revert to lvl 1?

It's supposed to keep your character level. I haven't tested in retail/Steam DS but in LOA it definitely keeps it.

I am seeing a drop down menu with all my saves in it, I didn't see that before. I imported my highest lvl character and it worked. Thanks for the replies! Stabbath Tv is the name of the games I host if anyone is interested btw. I also stream the game. Was hard getting it to be picked up with streamlabs.
