Tier 2 fishing rod

How do I get the tier 2 fishing rod? I have like 3 quests that require it and I dont know what quest I need to complete. (Also what station do I need for the sackolantern). Thank you in advanced.

You get the recipe for the fishing rod waaaaayyyyyy later than the quests for it. so just play and somoene will give it to you.

I don't think it is a spoiler to say this will happen frequently. If you don't have a recipe keep doing quests, you will get what you need eventually. This is especially true for tool upgrades but you will find the same thing happening with other quest items.
