Fishing questions
Does anyone know where I can get some more info about fishing? I'm curious as my results seem to be have been truly random. Some things I've been wondering about:

-I assumed at first that the size of the things i'm fishing out correlated to better results, but this doesn't necessarily seem to be the case. Does bigger maybe mean a better CHANCE at getting something good?

-Does it matter where you fish? I've set up my base to a teleporter relatively close to the escape pod, would I get better results if I was near harder enemies?

-How long is it really worthwhile to sit and wait? Sometimes I've pulled the line up after half a second thinking, "well, that's not great but not terrible" and other times I sit there for 30+ seconds just waiting to try to grab two medium sized things.

Any insights are appreciated!

All I can say is that fishing spots doesn't matter as far as I have noticed. There are also multiple biomes so that's where the different loot comes in.

The only thing I have been able to determine is the most obvious: you get more items if there are more globes in range of your line. I did wonder if the larger globes were more likely to contain seaweed, that was the only possible pattern that I noticed when I fished.

My general fishing strategy involves waiting a maximum of 30 seconds on each cast, for as many objects to come between the hook and the surface of the water and reel it in!

So far.. just like farming creatures for legendary drops, I think it doesn't matter where you do it, nor the size of the creature(aside from the young'un ones). It all comes down to you and luck.

So you go for object count instead of size? I've been starting to wonder if that's the better strategy than waiting for the big ones.

Yeah object-count for me. I thought at first bigger meant better, and it may be that bigger has a higher chance for stuff. But generally, after two biomes(I'm near the end of the second one I think), and much time fishing and making fishing holes in my house because I'm too lazy to go looking for fishing holes all the time.

More before you hit the 2h refresh timer seems to be a better bet.

Edit: Remember to use the lure too! I don't have it equipped all the time, but equip it when I'm fishing. 40% school increase is a very noticeable difference!

once u can make the bomb which can be used to blow up the fish pool and get all loots, u dont need fishing anymore and plus the fish food seed which make new lures of pool appear instantly,

What is the name and crafting station for the "fish pool bomb?" I don't think I've found it yet, but maybe I just missed the information.

Also, will the bomb and fish food work on the bawg's acid pools? Thanks!

Just unlocked it myself, Chembobber on the Centrifuge in the Bawg - fourth/fifth workstation to unlock.
