However, it is still unclear if it is random. The devs have referred it it as random, but it doesn't appear to be (if you create mutliple difficulty saves, for example, the maps in each save appear to be identical).
Would be good for devs to weigh in on this.
Case in point someones screen shot of the island on which you complete the fairy quest is completely different (5 minutes walking) location to where I found mine. However the islands itself was exactly the same.
I had a problem getting enough 'Blood Louse' when I thought this up, thought someone else might be able to give me directions to a "grove of artrees".
I find resources I previously had trouble finding later become abundant, this is as I travel farther as I become stronger.
Specifically in your example, I too had trouble finding artrees. now I walk past groves of them, heck I don't even farm them in my base gardens anymore.
Does anyone know if there are specific instances when the epic Glutterflies spawn? To date, even when I was exploring the first biome. I have never ever seen one. Maybe my particular game instance is glitched or God forbid! Bugged. But my Glutterfly is the only tier 1 creature left that I haven't brought to epic status.
Awesome info, thanks! Truth be told, after posting, I spent 3 in-game nights walking around and found 2, so thankfully, nothing is amiss! But because I was giddy with excitement having found them, I didn't take note of the terrain conditions. Although I did eventually draw the conclusion that they were to be found on the border between Wat and non-Wat territory. A thin sliver of border so to speak.
But knowing about the Womplords and red tartils does help tons! Thanks again!
Edit: Oh you only need 2 essences!? Hahahaha! I'm so happy now! Still solid info though!
