Question about Mission "Shock Tactics - Jack's eyes"

This is the first mission that really leaves me stumped. I'm supposed to place three 'evil eyes' at three different locations, which isn't really much of a problem...I just can't figure out where I'm supposed to get those eyes from? I can't seem to find them in the inventory or in the area. Am I missreading something, or am I just blind?

They are in your build menu like where you place furniture, it's tan with an eye in the middle.

I think I found them, they're listed as lanterns? My only problem is...there are only two of them. I've spent over an hour running back and forth, vacuuming literally my entire base to see if I accidentally placed one somewhere, checked the quest locations, absolutely nothing. I can't seem to craft them either, so....anyone got an idea?
