I was talking to Grandmammy after a mission and she wanted a angry omelette, somehow I already had one so i gave it to her. Now I have the fishing rod blueprint, but I can't find it anywhere, nor progress without it. Kinda stuck please help.

you know, you have to build more advanced workstations to get the fishing rod right?

make sure you have the latest workstation possible, and theh check again

You need the Squathe workstation to build one. Its the one after the Chemworks which you get from a quest. just keep questing and build the next available station you can. I was quite excited about the rod too but it was a few quests afterwards till i could make one

Yes like Baz-H said, you need the Squathe workstation to build a fishing rod.
You can build a Squathe workstation under Chemwork. So, check the Chemwork again, the recipe may be added there without you noticing.

The problem I have is that some recipes will be added into a station without having shadow versions of them there. Especially those quest-line unlocked recipes. So, sometimes I thought I build everything I want from a station, but new items are added later.

I think quest progression goes like this: ---spoiler---

Ramurl(?) 's smitheries --> building a water pump quest --> return to her, she will say battery is in the lake --> go see grandmammy for blueprint
... So, you should already be able to build a squathe station.
