How to use Fish bomb?

I've farmed up a ton of chembobbers and made a lot of fishing holes but when I equip the chembobber in my 4th slot, I select it (highlighted blue) and click on a fishing hole and it just throws out my fishing line like normal? Nothing happens.

So then I selected it again and tried clicking in a area that doesn't have a fishing spot and nothing happens there either.

How do I toss it to make it explode?

Also, bonus question - how would I know I have an item from fishing if I missed seeing it drop from fishing? I have no idea how to see a lit of my inventory of small items that can't be actually used.

Say I get the Wobblygong and didn't notice. I could end up fishing forever and never get another drop because I already have it but don't know it, and the quest doesn't show progress.

The Chembobber is used to explode many fishing holes at once. It is not used to make new fishing holes. It makes more fish in already existing fishing holes so you can catch more. There is no way to see the little items in your inventory that cannot be used. If you get the Wobblygong, you will not miss it. It is a Level 11 Epic weapon found only in the Savannah that you can equip and use to fight. You also need it to craft the Megagong Lure which is used to catch the Megagong. The Megagong is one of the best weapons in the game. It has been a while since I played the game so I don't remember everything perfectly, but hopefully this information will be helpful to you. Also there is a wiki for Crashlands that can be very helpful. Good luck...

Yeah I know it doesn't make fishing holes. I was explaining I have a lot of fishing holes but don't know how to make the bomb "go off".

I put it in my hot key spot, select it (it lights up like it's ready to be thrown) and click on a fishing hole, but that just makes me cast my fishing line. So I'm clueless on how to actually "use" the bomb. Any other bomb I have, I select it, then where I click, it throws it and it blows up.

All good. You did answer a big part though. I didnt know it was a weapon that I'm fishing for. So i'd atually have to grab it up and it doesn't just appear in my inventory.

Still no clue how to fish with bombs though. I've tried finding youtube videos and there are none there either. Just see if i could watch what the person clicks. lol

I think I figured it out. Looks like the bomb I made from the tundra exploded the fish holes in the tundra. The Chembobber must only work in the bawg.

It literally states 'Into bawg or savanna water'
