game too hard solo
On normal difficulty like the 4th quest in, it makes you go fight those grey things by the water, but they 1 shot you, and you have to hit them like 40 times to kill one.

If you get a quest that"s to hard just do/find another quest until you can upgrade some gear.
Halo 30 Thg04, 2020 @ 11:35pm
Haven't played it for a while, but from memory you are correct.

To start with it is very unbalanced and it is only when you get the forge - at some point I can't remember - that it actually allows you to make items that even the game up.

Saying that, sometimes you can spend 10 minutes fighting one creature, which is very dull and pointless.

The combat is poor and the aim mechanics are bad, which is a bit of a minus bearing in mind combat is a core component.

The biggest problem with this game is that it seems that there is something there - both from the promise of the game and the positive regard it has, yet in reality it isn't a good game at all.

I persevered for 51 hours and got to the final - pointless and never beat it - boss, so I think I get an opinion for no other reason than it is a horrendous waste of time.

This is what I was noticing....

Huh, expected better.

i first played on the hardest difficulty and more things will one shot you then and take forever to kill. after i beat it i did a new save on normal and honestly everything dies pretty quick long as some of your gear is decent. then later you can reforge stuff to bet matching perks to better your dps.and getting the right pet helps

I am stuck on the quest the one who knocks, can I get some help please?
Sherrow 7 Thg05, 2020 @ 4:47am
I did the game solo on insane mode, without having real problems.
Halo 7 Thg05, 2020 @ 9:09am
Well done you, you are the less than 1% than persists to even bother to do that.

I played it through on normal and it was tortuous enough with no final pay off, if masochism is your thing good luck to you as it isn't for the other 99.5 of us.

I had to stop and wait on quite a few quests while I played through the game. My current problem is the tier 3 enemies in the third zone. Even with the highest tier crafted weapons, the gulanti and gallum enemies just have WAY too much f-ing health. I re-rolled for their elemental weaknesses and everything, and it still took forever to kill the tier 3's to craft the pet items. And they also 1-2 shot you even in the top tier armor.
Out of sng, I messed with cheat engine to make my character immortal, and then just let it attack them. Even without having to move/avoid/dodge attacks, it still took more than 3 minutes PER MONSTER for the tier 3's.

sounds fun. why not increase your dmg and/or defense with cheat engine though?

Mostly because:
a: I don't like to cheat, honestly. I only did it to see just how much health the enemies have.
b: I don't know how to cheat the damage even if I wanted to.
Though after beating the game, I'm much more willing to cheat on a second playthrough. A damage multiplier would definitely make most of the tediousness of fights go away.
And I definitely want to change movement speed. Ugh.

2nd playthrough? Good lord, if I lived for eternity there would be no time for a second playthrough of Crashlands.

Well done for beating the final boss, I tried a couple of times and after 55 hours I just gave up.

this game is diffcult possably one of the hardest ive ever finished my advise treat this game like a dark souls like that people allways talk up the diffculty treat every enemy like it can and generaly will kill you in one hit watch the enemy and the ground as they will generaly give you plenty of warning to get out of the way and if all else fails make sure your gear is as good as you can get it if you run into a new type of enemy stay back let your pet damage it while you get used to its attack patterns

Game is quite fair in difficulty, and I hate games whose selling point is the difficulty like DS, this is quite a fun game to play and you can easily solo it in like 20h, a bit more if you want to farm all pet evolutions and items.

Only downside of the game is not having online multiplayer

I played the game twice from start to finish, it's not near as hard as you make it, you just need to rely on pets more. At the end of the game you have tons of healing items which make the end boss cake
Sherrow 16 Thg07, 2020 @ 3:37am
the games difficulty depends on the difficulty you play on.
On normal is pretty easy, on insane, it's really difficult.
On Insane Mode + Hardcore it's close to impossible and way harder than completing any souls game without dying.
