- the game's length is dependant on your style of play. LoF heavily focuses on exploration, so if you try to find all of the story items and take your time to know your surrounding the game should last for about 2-3 hours. We are working on expanding the content right now, which will make the game longer in the future.
- new rooms, new gameplay mechanics, more plot, and a lot of other stuff
- won't happen in the near future (maybe after the official release, but no promises on this)
- It's pure single player, the plot doesn't allow any reasonable co-op to be implemented.
- you need to create the masterwork painting, but it's only one layer of the story. I won't delve deeper into this, as it would be a huge spoiler :) Think of Layers of Fear as an adventure-exploration type of a game.
I'm eagerly waiting for the final version. The game looks so brilliant.
